Review Roundup for Final Fantasy VII Remake!

Review Roundup for Final Fantasy VII Remake!

Starting from an ambitious project that had shocked the gaming industry after its announcement in 2015, who would have thought if Final Fantasy VII Remake was almost in sight and could be played by all gamers around the world in a few days time. Fans' expectations and enthusiasm for this game are already at the peak point, and it looks like they will soon feel the extraordinary nostalgic experience of the adventures of Cloud et al.

By the time the release was getting closer, Square Enix had apparently given the opportunity for many gaming media to play the game first in order to prepare review material. As can be seen, it seems that not all media are satisfied with Final Fantasy VII Remake and give a score that feels lower than predicted. Most of the complaints that the KotGa Crew get from some of the reviews themselves relate to the amount of extra story content that feels like a "filler" and is not related to the main storyline. The KotGa crew themselves feel that this is very reasonable, because the portion of the Midgar story in the original Final Fantasy VII game is indeed quite short, so Square Enix will definitely add extra stories and other content to broaden the gaming experience to the equivalent of Final Fantasy games.

Final Fantasy VII Remake itself is planned to be released on April 10, 2020, exclusive to PlayStation 4. If you are curious to taste the game first, now you can try the free demo version available on PlayStation Store.
